Carmine joined Saphineia from Unilever, where in his last role, he oversaw all 40+ of its contract-manufacturers in food. In this position, Carmine elevated Unilever’s Contract Manufacturing network to best-in-class operational performance on production attainment, reliability, waste management and cost.

Prior to overseeing food contract manufacturing, Carmine founded Demand Driven Unilever, a groundbreaking supply chain methodology that improved the customer service level in Unilever’s largest Personal Care supply chain by 500 basis points and reduced inventories in its Savory supply chain by 67%.

Carmine also has significant Project Management experience, ranging from new equipment startups to leading a team of 40+ business and IT professionals responsible for Unilever’s largest SAP integration project, which Accenture rated as one of its top 10 implementations ever completed.
