David joined Saphineia from Griffith Foods, a family-owned, global flavor & ingredient company. As VP of Supply Chain & Operations for their Custom Culinary division he helped drive 300%+ growth in revenue and a 10%+ CAGR in profitability over a 14-yr period via acquisitions, facility expansions, and growth of their co-manufacturing network. David also spent time as VP of Supply Chain & Operations for Griffith Foods Europe developing operations growth strategy, executing transition from functional to matrix organizational structure, and preparing the business for the implications of BREXIT.
Prior to Griffith, David spent 20 years with Kraft Foods in plant roles in Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering, including five years as the Oscar Mayer Madison WI Plant Engineering Manager overseeing Plant Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and over 200 maintenance employees. This was followed by corporate roles in R&D, Engineering, and acquisitions. During David’s tenure, he led technical support for various Kraft divisions including Oscar Mayer, Boca Foods, Claussen, Back to Nature, Kraft Pizza, and Kraft Foodservice. He also led the integration of operations for the newly acquired Back to Nature Foods and Boca Foods businesses which were the foundation of Kraft’s Natural and Organic product platform.
